Southwest Corridor Park
Community Garden Application
|
Please complete this form to secure a place on up to three Community Garden Waiting Lists. When your name rises to the top of a garden list, a Garden Coordinator will contact you to see if you still want the plot. They will tell you which space(es) is available, and upon acceptance, they will collect your $20 annual plot fee for the SWCP Community Garden Fund. This annual fee is then transferred to the Southwest Corridor Park Conservancy (SWCPC) and put in the SWCP Community Garden Fund. The SWCPC (www.swcpc.org) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to raise and distribute resources to restore and maintain the Park; its plantings, structures, play areas, and community programs. The Community Garden Funds are available to the DCR for community garden repairs and supplies which they cannot otherwise afford. The DCR manager must make a formal request to the SWCPC prior to committing community garden funds. |
