Mission Statement
The mission of the Southwest Corridor Park Conservancy (SWCPC) is to restore and maintain the park and to enrich our community's experience in the park.
About the Conservancy
The Southwest Corridor Park Conservancy (SWCPC) is a volunteer not-for- profit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2004 to raise funds to maintain the beauty and functionality of the Southwest Corridor Park. All monies raised go directly towards supporting improvement projects and to general maintenance in partnership with the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR). The Conservancy also organizes volunteer support for the park.

Current Projects
- Restoration of the Durham Oval
- Park renovation behind Mass Ave T-Stop to Northampton Street (Northampton Green)
- Restoration of the West Canton Green
- Tree removal and replacement plan
Future Projects
- Replace garden fencing between Dartmouth Street and Mass. Avenue
- Art in the Park
- History Trail
- Plant and tree identifications
- Back Bay and Mass Ave entry signage
On Going Activities
- Volunteer days to plant and weed along the Corridor
- Pruning, re-seeding, general maintenance and repairs
Donations
The Conservancy is able to garden and improve the park through the generous donations of neighbors, former neighbors, corporate matching programs, and corporate donations. The Conservancy holds an annual appeal process but donations can be made any time in the following ways:
